<center>It's well-known fact, to all that pay attention, that there were twelve seats upon Mount Olympus. Twelve Olympians, the Dodekatheon, and each had their own domains of rule. However -- a contradiction! For with the rise of Dionysus, there were thirteen gods, and only twelve seats! Something of a conundrum, for Zeus insisted that his divine son deserved a rightful place upon Olympus. But fear not! For the hearth goddess, Hestia, generously surrendered her seat upon Olympus, allowing Dionysus to ascend as he deserved! And for this, she will always be remembered as an [[ally]] to the Bacchants.<center>
